Dear colleagues,

In September of this year the 8th FEPS congress will be held in Istanbul, Turkey. The preparations are in full swing and the indications are that the congress will become a great success, both scientifically and socially.
The congress includes the traditional young Physiology symposium (EYPS) organized by and for young European physiologists, the FEPS Physiology Teaching symposium, key note and plenary lectures by renowned scientists and a workshop dedicated to
“Lung, macrophages, hypoxia and inflammation”.
Furthermore, there are 18 symposia with invited speakers on an array of hot items in modern physiological research and ample room for posters and free oral communications. All details about registration and the preliminary program are available on the congress’ website: www.FEPS2011.org.
