Ce colloque (dont le comité scientifique est composé de R Ardaillou, R Bauwens, A Doucet, T Drueke, A Edelman, G Friedlander, G Planelles, P Ronco, E Rondeau et R Unwin) se déroulera sous le patronage de la Fondation du Rein.
Cependant, vous savez que sa thématique est largement ouverte à d’autres organes qu’il s’agisse de travaux fondamentaux ou appliqués.

"Primary Cilia and Signaling in Development and Tissue Homeostasis"

Cijiang He (New York) :
"Signaling in podocyte"

Le Prix Takis Anagnostopoulos (1 500 euros) récompensera la meilleure communication orale par un jeune chercheur, et sera remis à la fin du colloque, avant une discussion ouverte sur l’avenir de la discipline.
Les instructions pour la soumission des résumés de communications orales et affichées (qui seront publiés dans Nephron Physiology) et pour la participation au Prix Takis Anagnostopoulos vous parviendront avec la 2ème annonce de ce colloque.

Il n’y a pas de frais d'inscription, ce qui s’accompagne de la phrase rituelle ... « mais l’inscription est obligatoire » téléchargez l'  inscription. L’absence de frais d’inscription conduit à une organisation ... « home made », mais nous comptons sur votre compréhension.

We are pleased to announce the Takis Anagnostopoulos Symposium

"Renal and Epithelial Physiology and Physiopathology"


The symposium will take place in June 26th-27th, 2008 at the Necker Faculty of Medicine in Paris, France.


This meeting (scientific comitee: R Ardaillou, R Bauwens, A Doucet, T Drueke, A Edelman, G Friedlander, G Planelles, P Ronco, E Rondeau and R Unwin) will be held on the behalf of Fondation du Rein (the French Kidney Foundation), but is fully open to other research fields.

We will have the pleasure to welcome two invited speakers

Soren Tvorup Christensen (Copenhagen):
"Primary Cilia and Signaling in Development and Tissue Homeostasis"

Cijiang He (New York)):
"Signaling in podocyte"


Young scientists may concur for the Takis Anagnostopoulos Price (1 500 euros), that will be given at the end of the symposium for the best oral presentation. The presentations can be delivered in French or in English.

All abstracts (oral presentation and posters) will be published in Nephron Physiology. There will be the opportunity for young investigators to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation and details for this will follow.
Instructions for abstracts and for participating to the Takis Anagnostopoulos Price will be send with the 2nd announcement of the colloquium.

There is no fee to participate, but we are asking for a registration form to be completed to help us estimate the number of those likely to attend.
